I just had to write to you & tell you how much our entire family & Mack's friends enjoyed his reptile party today! Lyra was awesome with the kids & VERY knowledgeable regarding all the animals that she brought with her. The kids had many questions & she answered every question in a way that the kids could understand. I cannot express how impressed we were with Lyra's presentation & she made Mack feel quite special on his special day. In comparison to prices for other birthday events, this one wins hands down! Thank you so much for bring all the wonderful crawlies to my son's birthday party. The kid's loved it and found it as exciting as I did! Not only was it a great experience for them but also an awesome presentation proving to them just how responsibility with animals work! I am such an advocate for proper pet care, especially with tricky reptiles and such and there are too too many parents who do not see the severe commitment they have to make when buying their kids a reptilian pet. Now I feel certain that with the education you provided to the kids, they will be the ones convincing their parents NOT to get a reptile as a pet without proper knowledge. The party was a great success. My daughter and her friends absolutely loved all the reptiles. The fact that they were learning and also touching and holding the reptiles was a huge bonus. "Calgary Reptile Parties came to the Town of Grande Cache for our annual Canada Day Festivities. They did one show on the evening of June 30, 2009, and 2 more on July 1, 2009 along with their petting/viewing zoo. It was a very popular event seeing as something of that kind has never been in our town. Jason was very knowledgeable in presenting the facts about all the different reptiles. He was friendly toward all town’s people, and allowed everyone a chance to view the animals and gave plenty of chances for everyone to hold the animals and take a picture with them if they would like. They had a lot of energy which grasped everyone’s attention during their shows. They had approximately fifteen hundred people throughout the day pass through their “viewing/petting zoo” area. "Thank you so much for bringing the reptiles to Kris' party! He had such a blast and to see the expressions on the other kid's faces was quite comical. Jason and the Calgary Reptile Parties team provided the live animals component to the 2010 Darwin exhibition, hosted in Calgary by TELUS World of Science. Jason and his team were a joy to work with, and helped us provide a fantastic and interactive experience for our visitors. Finnegan the Green Iguana was the highlight of the exhibition, and the additional workshops Jason provided for our Open Minds School program, special events, and public programs have been enjoyed by many of our visitors with feedback always being extremely positive. Reptile Parties hosted by Jason Clevett was recommended to me by a parent at Crossroads Community Preschool.  He was everything that the parents and children expected and more!  The reptiles that Jason and Amanda brought were unique, fascinating and sparked the interest of the 3 and 4-year-old groups.  I was amazed at how many reptiles the children could touch and how responsive the children were.  The information Jason and Amanda presented was wonderful and just the right amount for the young children.  Jason understood the age group very well and acted appropriately to facilitate a great presentation.  It is quite obvious that he is passionate about reptiles by his knowledge and care for them.  I would highly recommend his parties for all age groups and I hope to have him back to the preschool next year! -   Jennifer Hohenstein - Teacher at Crossroads Community Preschool

If you want to bring in real life experiences to your class and don’t know how....this is an excellent, engaging resource to use. Jason customized the presentation in accordance to what we were learning about (which happened to be the Rainforest). He brought in a variety of Rainforest amphibians and reptiles for the children to see. They were able to touch the baby Tortoise, the baby Turtle, the Iguana, and the large Boa Constrictor. Jason gave background information on each and allowed time for questions at the end of each reptile/amphibian. He was very knowledgeable and prepared for our presentation and was able to present it at a Grade One level. “Calgary Reptile Parties provided a presentation for our Beaver Scout Troop last night. I run a boys and girls club in High River and when I told the kids that we were going to have a reptile party they were thrilled...especially the boys. They couldn't wait for Jason to come. Jason did not disappoint. He brought out 14 of his reptiles varying from snakes to scorpions to lizards. The kids were amazed as he presented each animal. The girls were even fascinated! Jason held the attention of the kids as well as had the wisdom in how to allow the kids to handle the safer reptiles. Jason was very knowledgeable about each reptile and his main message was not lost on the children - research your pet before you dive in! I would recommend Jason for any group.
