Jason Clevett, a long time reptile enthusiast, heads Reptile Parties. He has done presentations for schools, scout groups, the Calgary Humane Society, and birthday parties. Jason is President-Elect of the Alberta Reptile and Amphibian Society, a non-profit organization that promotes education and produces two shows and sales annually. When Jason is not busy with reptiles, he is involved in many other projects. He can be found guiding people through Calgary’s spooky past from May – October with Calgary Ghost Tours, and can be found hamming it up as an additional cast member at Jubilations Dinner Theatre. Jason also donates his time to the Calgary Zoo as a volunteer assistant gorilla keeper. He works with the gorilla troop as well as colobus monkeys, dwarf crocodiles and Pebbles, the massive African Rock Python He recently completed the zoo's Naturalist 101 course and is looking forward to training to be an educational docent in early 2010!

Amanda Sipes isn’t your typical Mom. In addition to her three children and husband Sheldon she has over 30 pets, many of which come to parties. She is actively involved in The Alberta Reptile and Amphibian Society. She is thrilled to be part of Calgary Reptile Parties as it combines two of her passions – animals and children.

Lyra Logan is a self professed nerd who loves video games, programming, science fiction and of course reptiles. When she first started she only had two corn snakes but her collection is rapidly growing and now includes uromastyx, crested geckos, a hogg island boa and an iguana. When Lyra is not doing shows she is a web designer and programmer.

Sheldon McLean is a dad, reptile lover, and welder by trade. He keeps busy with his three kids and dozens of reptiles. He has owned reptiles for over a decade and plans to be a breeder of several different species of animals over the next few years. . He is a board member of The Alberta Reptile & Amphibian Society.

Brendan McDonald can often be found taking photos and pitching in at festivals and events. He enjoys being creative with photos and the opportunity to let people experience meeting a reptile up close and personal.
